  • Books and pen/pencil only on desks
  • Students may use their book to take quizzes.
  • Put names on quizzes, even thought you must bubble answers in on bubble sheet.
  • No talking until all quizzes and bubble sheets are submitted!
2. Article: "A Change of Heart About Animals" by by Jeremy Rifki
  • Students already have the articles and question handouts from Tuesday. There are extras for those who were absent. We left off on Activity 5, question #5. Students may work in their group to continue.
  • Teacher may circulate and stamp papers of those who are working and on task as they finish each section : )
    1. Activity 5: Making Predictions and Asking Questions- finish answering on separate sheet of paper.
    2. Activity 6: Understanding Key Vocabulary- Define each word on separate paper
    3. Activity 7: Reading for Understanding- Answer all questions on separate sheet of paper
3. ATP Last 30 minutes of class
  • Students may work quietly to finish their assignment individually or read quietly.
    • **NOTE: There are several students in each class who need to finish their Performance Task Essay. Please ask for your prompt/essay packet from the teacher. Please submit at the end of ATP, you cannot take the essay home.
